A few Friday Facts from *TWITTER*

This is a message to those of you who do not use Twitter (which I'm thinking is most of you) : "GET WITH THE PROGRAM."  It's all about twitter.  Not only is it really entertaining but I learn SO many things from it.  It's where I get most of my news and interesting facts.

Here are just a few facts I've collected over the last couple of weeks that I figure I would share with you non-tweeters.  Not because they are really important things to know but because they are, like Hoda would say, "WHAT THE WHAT" kind of things:

Everyone.  Stop what you're doing (after you finish reading this), go to the store and get all new pillows because really? Who switches them out every two years? I know I don't.  Or, didn't at least.
#eek #gross #pillowshopping

yes, I just mock hashtagged in a blog.  I need to get you people ready to Tweet :)

She's literally a nightmare of mine.  Now, thanks to this fact, I will spend the rest of my life unable to watch Lilo and Stitch. ....great

mostly, I just think this is mind blowing...and really cool.

Gross right?  I mean, what makes it OK for something like this ^^ to happen?  Besides the fact that they are old enough that they most likely can't reproduce a nightmare of a child, "The Hills Have Eyes" style?  Yeah, still NOT OK.

Are you freaking out yet?  Yeah, that shiz is real.  I googled it while texting Nieko about it for a good half hour.  Here's a little blurp of what we were discussing:

Yep. True Story.

Wednesday

"You're blond, I'll say it twice."
-English guy running the Alpine Coaster in Park City
First of all... rude.  I'm a pretty smart girl. I was just trying to go through the technique to make sure I understood how to make this self-speed roller coaster that I just jumped in work so I don't DIE!  I know he was joking and I joked right back but then he proceeded to look at me and then said "Well, you aren't a natural blond anyway, right?" Um. Excuse me?  Sure, I have highlights and my roots might be showing a little right now but get real.  Don't point it out. The end.

"Blond people get raped more." -Jessica
"I feel like that isn't a real statistic." -me
I'm not sure what the deal was with me being a blond this weekend.  It's not like I just highlighted my hair for the first time, people.  But really, I love that Jess made up this statistic to spook me or something.  First of all, I'm pretty sure they would try to take the smallest one if all three of us were just walking down the street.  Sorry, Liz...you're the smallest. haha jk.  But really, I'm pretty sure I could hold my own no matter what hair color I have!

"Did you just say you're addicted to Crack?"
-Barista to me at a coffee shop in Park City
I'm pretty sure that I wasn't talking loud enough for her to hear, nor was I talking to her but I said "I love FRAPS." It's like, really lady?  Just make the tea and don't worry about the drug problem you think I have.  haha. What if I really did say I was addicted to crack.  What would she have done then.  DANG it, I should have tried to make it awkward for her. meh. But I do love that she told me that I don't look like the kind of person who would do drugs.  So that's nice.

"Please tell me that's you rocking my chair?!"
-Jess to Liz after having to run out of our room after our "paranormal incident."
We were a little freaked out to say the least. I'm so sure a ghost would be rocking the chair that she was in.  haha. That would be a nightmare though.

"You know what your face looks like right now?  The tanning mom."
-Nieko to Willy
bahahahahahahahahaha.  THAT'S what happens when you put Willy out in the sun for 4 days on a pioneer trek.  He turns straight up BLACK.  No offense Willy.  Your face was just BEYOND dark and we couldn't get over it.

"I don't like yoga. I think it's a cult."
"Going to the Gym is like slow effing death!"
-Big Ang
This lady is crazy but here's the thing, I love her.  She is SO funny.  I follow her on, well..everything but every time she tweets or posts on Instagram, I just can't help but read what she says in that voice of hers.  If you know of Big Ang then you know what I'm talking about.  Like when she says something like, "Here's my Baby." I mean, there is just a way she says it.  omg.  obsessed.  So funny.  So weird.  Love it.  In fact, I tweeted a few weeks ago about how excited I was about Big Ang's spin off show starting and VH1 tweeted me back.  Woot woot. FAMOUS. haha.

"I wanted to write, I hate you."
-Mom
Like mother, like daughter? haha. maybe. I laugh about stuff like this because it's just one of those situations where you try to be the better person but you don't want to be fake but usually saying anything at all is fake.

"I squirted the rest of the hair dye down the drain so he couldn't do his too.  Was that rude?"
-Alex
hahaha. I can just picture him doing this and it's hilarious.  I actually had this conversation with a different friend this past weekend as well.  There are just some people who you don't want doing the exact same thing as you.  They can be your really good friend but you just don't want them to have the same hair color, shirt or jewelry, simple as that!  Please tell me we aren't the only ones who feel like this sometimes?!

"Well, FINE! He didn't want her [stupid] [butt] anyways."
-Grandma Muir
I called my mom yesterday to see why she wrote a certain something somewhere and we laughed and she ended up telling me what Grandma Muir said about a certain situation. I was DYING laughing because well, it was Grandma Muir and my mom kept repeating what she said and was busting up laughing.  It might be horrible, but hearing any person who normally doesn't swear say something like "the other word for butt" is hilarious.  So clearly I substituted a couple of words.  We used stupid so you wouldn't think grandma Muir is racist. haha

Oh and she's not MY grandma but we just love her.

"Crazy stuff like that happens to me everyday.  My memoir will be called, "Crazy Shiz."
-Alex
Guaranteed I would be first in line to buy that book even though I hear about a lot of it over the phone. But really, I can see it being a hit seller. You know those moments when you're like "of course that happened to you?"  Alex has a lot of these moments.  We just have to laugh about it because it's so crazy.  I think the title is perfect.

"Well, I'm going to get a massage WHILE four-wheeling.  I will be driving and the masseuse will be behind me....just exploring the outback."
-Male coworker.
Was I actually involved in this conversation?  No, I wasn't.  But I over heard him trying to one-up these two girls in a joking way and let's be real? I'm a little concerned about what he meant by "exploring the outback." BAHAHAHA.  eek. sick I know but I couldn't help it. They didn't even laugh about it and I know that he didn't mean it in any ways but of course I laughed out loud.  Rule 1 when eavesdropping.  Don't laugh out loud.  Yeeeeahhh.. I'm working on that one.

My DI, DIY project :)

You guys, I told you I went to the DI this weekend with Jess and Liz and found something great?  Yep. It happened.  I'm not a DI lover by all means but these treasures I found? Omg.

I found three bar stools that were a little beaten up and clearly from the 80's or something.  OK, maybe not that old but they needed a little love.  When I saw that they were $5 each I couldn't pass them up.

I saw on a blog months ago that someone covered a chair with duct tape and I LOVED it and figured that would be a great and easy way to fix these up for my new apartment I'm moving into next week.

I decided on red for two of the chairs because it will match the wood lips I made a couple months ago and then of course I decided to Snooki it up with an animal print.  I love me some zebra.

Here's the start to finish!

I still have one more red chair to go but I love them and can't wait to put them in my new apartment.  Each used about 20 yards of Duct tape (one roll for the red ones and 2 rolls for the Zebra) making each about 12 bucks a piece TOTAL.  Yeah. thank youuuu DI.

If you didn't notice in the picture above.. The chairs are now sitting where my dining table and chairs were.  Those are currently out in the garage where Liz and I left them after redoing them black!  Looks SOO good.  I just couldn't have a light brown table when everything else is black in the new apartment.  Pics of those to come.

Park City Girls Weekend

I know I've been MIA for almost a week and I'm sorry about that.  Give me a break, I was on mini vacation!  Sure, it was only Park City but I've decided that is my kind of vacation.  If I'm not flying and we have to drive somewhere I want to feel like I'm away but not drive more than an hour. Park City is just that. It is so nice up there!

On Thursday night when we arrived we went on the alpine slide and coaster which was located in the backyard of our hotel.  You guys, the coaster is a BLAST.  It's a coaster that gives you a scenic tour to the top of the mountain (basically felt like Jurassic park, minus the Dinosaurs) and then once you reach the top you are sent on an awesome trip where you are in control of your individual car.  You can speed up and slow down whenever you want.  It's a really great time.

We decided to hot tub with, as Jessica would say, "all the Fetuses."  Basically it was a family resort and lots of people were on Vacay with the fam so the pool and hot tubs were swarming with children.  I don't blame them because the place is really nice and who doesn't love the pool?  Yes, it would have been more relaxing if all the children weren't out but come on, what can you do?

Then we rented a movie from the hotel to watch in our villa.  We picked out the movie Abandoned (not to be confused with, Abducted, the HORRIBLE movie with Taylor Lautner).  None of us had seen the movie but we noticed that it was released in 2010 and Brittany Murphy starred in it.  *RIP B. MURPH* I only mention this whole thing because she was a mess in this movie and we couldn't get over it.  She looked totally nast and the worst part was that it wasn't even part of her character to look so repulsive; That was just how she looked.  No wonder why it was her last movie.  I'm surprised she made it through the filming because the whole movie I felt like she was going to die at any minute.  Again, not her character.  Just her.  It was bad.  But here's the thing...despite her looks and it's clear low budget filming, it was actually a pretty good movie.  Huh.  Who knew?

The next day got up and walked main street, shopped, ate out, sat out by the pool, turned  the tub in our Villa into our own little hot tub and then decided to rent a scary movie and order in Chinese.  It was Friday the 13th and we all know how much Liz and I love stuff like that.  Well, it was a HORRIBLE idea.  Long story short, the Chinese food was aw.FUL.  The "fried rice" was normal rice with soy sauce on it only and it basically tasted like dog food.  Liz ordered noodles with her chicken and (haha omg) that's what they gave her; straight up noodles with NOTHING on it. hahaha. not even sauce.  Then Jess opened her egg drop soup (which in my opinion is completely gross-ville) and the eggs were GREEN.  Oh my gosh.  It was horrible.  Liz and I didn't mind the chicken but I think Jess was so grossed out by everything else that she couldn't get herself to eat any more of it.  This resulted in her calling the delivery service people and the restaurant.  I love her for being able to do that.  I mean, I would like to be that kind of person but I'd also like to hate licorice and carbs but THAT'S not happening anytime soon.  Anyways, after hours of back and forth conversations of "this is gross" and "can we get some of our money back" and explaining how gross the food was we were granted half of our money back and the delivery service told us they would probably take that restaurant off their list of people they go through.  YAY us.  Pretty sure we, I mean Jess, saved some people from being disappointed. Moral of THAT story.  Don't order Chinese in Park City from "A Wok Away."  clever huh?  Stupid Asians.

OK, while I'm at it, I don't hate Asians. I love their food...Normally. and I love that one Asian in the Perfect Score and the one in Disturbia.  So that's fun.  But get real.  I heard my Asian neighbors doing some "extra curricular activities" last night when I was going into my apartment around midnight and ALL I have to say is.. "omg, shut your freaking window." It was a nightmare.

ANYWAYS....We ended up eating ice cream for dinner that night instead.  WAY better.

Now onto the scary part. (Beside Liz practically being the walking dead all Friday morning because she was sick and the whole "korean neighbors boinking" thing)  We love scary movies.  Pretty sure the three of us would watch a scary movie everyday if there were enough GOOD ones out there to do so.  Anyways, normally we freak ourselves out a little bit but nothing like this weekend.  Again, long story short, LIGHTS DON'T JUST FLICKER AND THEN TURN OFF.  Ok, they do but not just one light when the TV is still running.  There was totally something freaky was going on in our hotel.  Scary enough that we turned off the movie, prayed, and then left to go outside for a bit.  It was pretty freaky mostly because it was right in the middle of a really scary part.  ugh.  NIGHTMARE.  Luckily Liz slept in the same bed as me and we were fine:)  I guess it made it eventful.  Good thing we all bought "ghost beads" at the Indian shop earlier that day to protect us. hahaha. Not kidding; we really we did.

All in all it was just a fun trip to get away and be with the girls. I just love them and I love getting away, relaxing and most of all...Not working!

Oh and you guys, just WAIT until you see the projects we worked on this weekend for my new apt.  You are going to die!  Yes, I made a purchase at the DI and it's FABULOUS :)

Pics Coming Soon.

Wednesday. Sooo... I didn't do the best job recording this week. Sue me.

"They don't have lemonade here" *insert sad face* -Liz about Chic-Fil-A
"Ummm" *insert look of disgust* -me.
I just want to know where she's been all this time that we've been friends? haha.  I'm pretty sure I talk about their lemonade a lot because it's so freaking good.  Aren't they known for their good lemonade?  I thought that was common knowledge?

Amanda read the Chic-Fil-A Sign:
"Dress like Me-Git free Chikin."
Ok, I don't remember everything that was said about this so I won't quote anyone.  However, I will say that the conversation went on for way longer than it needed too.  Something about being confused by what they were saying and thinking that the "Me-Git" was supposed to mean "nugget."  makes sense right? haha. no.  That never crossed my mind ONCE when reading that. But it was funny.  Basically her confusion was, do you dress like a Cow (their mascot) or like one of their delicious chicken nuggets to get said "free chicken?"  [omg. can you imagine her dressing like a chicken nugget when everyone comes dressed like a cow?  best.thing.ever. dear Amanda, please do it!]

"ew. Why is there water on my floor?" -me
"Did it come out of your tootsie?" -Nieko
OK.  That sounded really gross.  What he really was asking was if it came out of my Otter Pop wrapper that was sitting on the floor. haha.  But Tootsie is a really funny word.

"You shouldn't not poop, especially when you're preggers.  Technically, I'm pooping for two."
-Pregnant Snooki
Leave it to Snooki to talk about pooping on her TV show.  Although gross, she's right, you shouldn't NOT go #2, it's not good for you. I just don't get the whole pooping for two thing. hahaha. I mean, how does that even work? omg.  That just made me think about a discussion I had with some of my friends a long time about about fetuses going to the bathroom.  *shiver* Weird.
Snooki, I love you but you're gross.

"You've never seen any of the Bourne movies?  Next thing you're going to tell me that you don't know who BaRACK Obama is?" -Kid we met at the Drive-In
"??" -Amanda
Hilarious. This led into a conversation about how if you read Barack's name it indeed looks like BaRACK.  She might not know who BaRACK is, or never seen any of the Bourne movies, but by golly she knows who the President of the United States is!

(Fun Tid Bit- I just looked up how to spell "golly" (didn't want to get it wrong) and Urban Dictionary popped up and told me it was the "whitest word ever." HAHAHAHA. Some people.)

Cole (over Skype) "Guess what, Jenn?"
me: "What?!"
Easton: "AHHHHH NUTSACK!"
Cole: "hahaha. That's what."
smh. yeah, I'm not joking.  That really happened and i'm not gonna lie, it made me miss them a little.  Oh, boys.

"I can't believe I just let you guys do that to me." -Willy
"I thought you were just having fun!" -Nieko
I won't say exactly what we did to Willy that night in fear that you would think we are totally off the wall (which, might be partially true but none of you have told us that up to this point).  ANYWAYS,  I will tell you that it was Willy's idea and that it happened after talking about a movie we watched on Friday night starring a very attractive black man and the guy who starred in the 1996 made for TV movie, "Sabrina the Teenage Witch."  [Haha. if you figured it all from those clues above without googling it then, we can be real friends:)] I will just say that I haven't had one of those "I can't believe we just did that" moments in a really long time while laughing THAT much.

Monday ALREADY!?

Happy Monday! Actually, scratch that.  I'm not sure why people say, "Happy Monday." I bet whoever started that was being sarcastic because, let's be honest, I love the weekend and Monday is just the reminder that I have to go to work for 5 more days until another weekend rolls around. humph. I sure do love the weekend.  Guess what though, I only have to work three days this week. [Woot Woot].

Our original plan a couple of months ago was to take a friend trip to Vegas.  Sure, we were excited for it at the time but throw in a couple people bailing and a few annoyances and well, Vegas was cancelled.  To be honest, I'm not bugged about it anymore.  Initially I was annoyed because 1.) as previously discussed, I can't stand flaky people and 2.) It was just something people had been talking about for a while.  Well, long story short, we still have the days off and, since our little group has been a bit interesting lately, it turned into just me and a couple girls going.  Girls Weekend in Park City? Ok. done and done.

We aren't exactly sure what we are going to do but we are excited just to get away (even if it's only an hour away) and swim, shop, eat out and just do whatever.  Let me tell you what though... deciding what we were actually going to do about killed me.  But whatevs, it's done now.

In recent events:

I got really sun burnt on the 4th of July out with Liz and her family at the Lake and the Parade and such.  Well, it's peeling right now on my shoulders and I hate it.  I can't remember the last time my skin actually peeled. It's ugly and I don't like it. ugh.  Whatever.

Jamie and her family just got back from Georgia last night.  They've been there for a week and I honestly HATE not getting to talk to them everyday.  It's rude.  And I've been so used to FaceTiming Mason at least every other day that this last week that I haven't seen him has felt like a month.  I tell Jamie that he doesn't remember me but she insists that he does.  Can you tell that I love that boy yet? haha

Which, leads me to my next thought:  I miss my family and I just saw them two weeks ago.  Honestly.  Can FranklinCovey just move to Boise for a year or two so I can move home and live by my family? Dear FC, get on that.

I guess the Hansen/Smith Disneyland trip just needs to get here! Less than 2 months.  Which means Cole is less than two months from coming back. yesss!

I've started to pack up a few things.  Well, just some of Coleman's stuff because I only had a few boxes this weekend but it's a start.  I can't believe I've only 18 days away from moving. eek :/ I'm excited though...Change is good.  New apt, new location, new ward;  It should be good!

A friend and I recently decided we were going to try working on a few personal things. I just want to give people a heads up to let you know that I'm not being fake now, nor was I   ever being fake ... I just realized that I let a couple of things get out of hand and it's no one's fault but my own.  I'm just going to TRY really working on them.  I know I've said this before but I think now is a good time as I'm moving and stuff.  Again, I'm not a saint and I'm not perfect so, PLEASE, be patient with me ;)

Well, you guys are great.  I really do hope you have a Happy Monday!

I don't hate people.

This is horrible.  But, you guys, there are just some people I don't want to run into.  If I am one of those people to you then, please, kindly click the little "X" in the upper right hand corner of your computer screen or delete the search page on your celly cell. I won't think you're rude.  Thanks.

Source: someecards.com via Gina on Pinterest

OK, now that we have that covered...

I don't hate people.  I know that people change and circumstances change and I'm a firm believer in letting people do what they have to do, but that doesn't mean that I don't ever get beyond annoyed with certain people.  That's normal.  So this is my public address stating that just because I get annoyed with people or just don't have anything in common with them resulting in a lack of interest in conversations does NOT mean that I hate them or that I'm not nice.  Sometimes not saying more than "Hi" and "how are you" is being nice.

It's unfortunate but..what can you do?

 That is all.

Wednesday's Witty Words of the Week (Before I head out to Celebrate America's Birthday :))

"Just say, Mom, This milk shake is bringing no boys to the yard."
-Nieko to Liz
We had a talk about girls wearing their shirts a little too low.  Liz is not one of these people so what Nieko speaks is the truth.  No boys to that yard.  Well... for that reason anyway.

"Please tell me you have something under that."
-Willy
So, I think I mentioned that my swim shorts completely ripped all the way up the right side when I jumped off that cliff on Saturday, Right? Well it did.  All the way up.  I didn't realize it until we were getting out of the water and my ward was RIGHT there.  Yes, I had my swimming bottoms on so it wasn't a big deal but that could have been a nightmare.

"You know who's the baddest of all asses?....Yoshi."
-Nieko
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA.  Yes,  Willy was playing Super Mario but we weren't even talking about the game when he said this so it was even funnier.  It's true though, Yoshi is pretty BA.

"Guys...We need more friends."
-Liz after we were just talking about how much fun we had that day.
It's true.  I mean, we have lots of friends that we know it's just that we have a certain group of regulars that we hang out with.  Time to broaden our horizon's I guess.  That way Liz doesn't get too bored with us! haha. jk, Liz.  I feel ya!  Let's work on that.

"You better behave or I'm going to darn you, Cody."
-Kid in testimony meeting talking about what God would say to him
haha. I have a really hard time during certain parts of testimony meeting sometimes.  Can you tell? yes.  He really said DARN.

"You're hot.  Did you get a Haircut?  Because it's working!"
-An email that one of my coworker's friend's got from an online dating site because of how many hits she's gotten on her profile.
I think the best part of this whole email was that it said that because she was "hot" that they would start recommending more attractive people on the site.  BAHAHAHA.  Here's the thing.  Just because you have more "views" or "hits" doesn't mean you are Hot.  Get real.  Don't you ever see someone in real life or on facebook or something and you're like "GEE.  I need to check this thing out."  you know, just for funzies?  I'm sure that happens on online dating sites ALL the time. I mean, I would do that. haha. classic.

"Is she saying Hanes? Like, the underwear?"
-Amanda
You know that Ke$ha song (omg, typing her name was just so annoying) that goes like this "Go insane, Go insane, throw some glitter, make it rain...Let me see your Hands. Let me, Let me, see your hands."  Yeah, that one. Well Amanda always thought she was saying "Let me see your Hanes." bahahhahaha.  OK, I will give it to her that she DOES indeed say the word "hands" a little funny.  But that song would be even more weird if she was just asking some guy to see his Hanes brand underpants as she's throwing glitter and "making it rain." haha smh.

"Let's do something fun tomorrow.  Let's all get together and have licorice or something; I love licorice."
-Anna
haha.  Most random thing ever.  This led into a conversation about the different kinds of licorice and our favorite ones.  Actually.  It sounds like a really good idea.  I think I need to go buy some. haha

"We've been together too long, We're on the same cycle."
-Nieko
BAHAHAHA. We were both on the swings and we were trying to go at opposite times from side to side so we wouldn't hit each other and then we just started going at the exact same time.  Which, of course led to this comment ^.  I laughed for a long time.  Mostly because I don't know how he comes up with some of this stuff so fast.  Hilarious.

"He was assassinated. In the car, with his wife."
-Twin 1 to Twin 2 while playing Catch Phrase with each other while we all watched and laughed.
I wish I could remember the names that he said.. But I know that he guess TWO people and one of them was some foreign name and the other one I'm pretty sure was an early explorer.  HAHA idk.  I still can't get over the whole situation.  Pretty sure we watched them play catch phrase for a good 30 minutes by themselves.  You guys...they did actions.  They were actually smart (aside from the whole JFK thing).  It was the best thing ever.  Of course this led to me convincing them to dance battle each other.  omg.  I can not. even explain!  best. thing. ever!

Vent sesh.

I'm a planner, right?  I plan for a living, I don't really love flying by the seat of my pants, and when I have my heart set on something I really hate making changes.  It's a blessing and a curse I think.  Today, it's only a curse.

Quite a few things fell through today and changes have to be made. I'm not blaming anyone per say, I'm just saying that sometimes things don't work out the way you originally planned on them going; That's just life.

Well...sometimes it sucks, OK?!

Back to the drawing board on some things.
AKA.  Possibly figure out what to do instead of Vegas next weekend or how to use that "already-scheduled-Paid Time Off" because certain people bailed and (minor detail) figure out what to do with the two days of PTO that were for the Besties  wedding (which was pushed back to September 6th).  If I don't use it, I lose it. I'm sure I will figure out something.. even if it's a stay home, sleep in, shop and go tanning kind of day.

OK, sorry-- I just needed to get over all of this CRAZINESS going on in my brain today.

Love,

The annoyed OCD planner girl who just wants thing to go the way they were planned and for people to stop being flakey.

"I would rather do drugs than this."

I've always been a pretty big chicken when it comes to doing anything in the water and anywhere that involves my feet not touching the ground or falling.  For example.  I don't do diving boards, I hate ice skating and walking down steep hills, I don't care for swimming in open water, and heck, I don't even like walking in ice because of my fear of falling.  Although each are a titch irrational, they are all very real.  I never planned on this holding me back from doing things that most people find fun.  Honest.  There have been multiple times where I've really desired to do some of these things by my brain just stops me.

This weekend a few of my friends convinced me to go to Causey Reservoir with them.  Knowing I didn't like doing most of the things  that they would be doing, I really wanted to go and have fun with them and be in the sun.  I went and wasn't disappointed with how beautiful it was there:

I feel bad for my friends for having to put up with my screaming about everything and the fact that I'm kind of a baby but they got a kick out of making fun of me.  [rude].  Most people think that I'm just super dramatic, which I am... but honestly, every time I was scared of doing something yesterday, I wasn't just being dramatic.  I was scared to get in the Kayak because thoughts like "what if I get tipped? what if I get attacked by a giant 'WHO KNOWS WHAT' that could be living in this open water," you know.. crap like that.  My brain is weird and quiet frankly it makes me mad because it wins most of the time.  But not yesterday.

My friends are really convincing.  They made me get in the kayak, they tipped me over, I was cold, I whined..you know.  Normal stuff.  But not normal for me.  I think it's good to have friends who push you to do things that really aren't going to hurt you.  OK, besides the cliff jumping thing.  I didn't really want to go because we all know how my family and rocks mix but my friends, knowing that deep inside I wanted to be able to do it, helped me over the ledge and gave me pep talks (and laughed at me behind my back haha) until after what seemed like an hour, I was able to jump off the HIGH cliff into the water.  We won't talk about all of the screaming and the fact that I hit my face and chest so hard on the water. (yeah, it happened).  But let's just say, I did it and I was entertainment for EVERYONE at Causey that day.  Pretty sure people a mile away heard me scream...before, during and.. ummm.. after the jump.  I honestly just can't believe I even climbed up the rocks to begin with.  I mean, I don't do stuff like that.

Well, I guess there's a first time for everything.   Sure, I have a bad sun burn on my shoulders, my swim shorts ripped COMPLETELY up the side from the jump, my throat hurts from screaming and I feel like death... But I'm glad I did it once.  I didn't die.  Sure, we were all a little scared that I wasn't going to pop back up out of the water alive but I did and I'm fine.

I think it's good to have people to push you to do things, as long as they are positive things.  I really did want to be able to jump off the cliff and they knew that.  And I did it.  Sometimes you just have to have people to encourage you and grab your arm to help you get to the ledge so you can make that jump at whatever it is you want to do.

Whatever it is.. just be careful.  That's what I've learned.

yeah... I don't need to jump off a cliff again anytime soon but man was it a fun day with great friends :)

On a not-so-happy side note: I'm so sick of flakey people.  Can we all do each other a favor?  If you say you're going to do something--do it!  I mean, unless you have a really good reason, of which I would totally understand.

That is all.
