Water's my favorite...I shouldn't be allowed to venture out.

Dear Chick-fil-A,

I really enjoy your lemonade.  No. Scratch that.  I LOVE your lemonade.  But my body can't handle all the sugar....
I think we need a break :(

Love,

Oh yeah--It's Wednesday.

"He's such an annoying."
-Deena
let's just say this was right...at least she used "an" instead of "a"...uh...Thumbs up?

"You're a fun."
-Snooki
I had to put this one and Deena's "an annoying" comment next to each other.  So funny but like, really?

"I'm bored. Tell me your secret!"
-Vicky
Pretty sure her world was crushed when I told her that I had made up the whole thing about our friend Chris being in HSM 1 and 2....and kept it going for like 6 weeks.  haha. best joke of my life.

"Want me to get it for you?"
-Amanda in reference to someone's blemish
This led into a conversation about how some people can pop other people's zits and actually like doing it and how other people are completely disgusted by it. haha.

"Jenn and I are going to do a white version/parody of Nicki Minaj's Dungeon Dragon!" -Victoria
"But Victoria....You're black." -Brad
Ready to play two truths and a lie?
1.) We were actually excited about our idea even though we wouldn't actually do it.
2.) Vicky is the whitest black person we all know.
3.) I called up Nicki Minaj and she's going to be in the video.

Yeah.

"I'm glad Lady Gaga didn't win anything.  I hate that [B]"
-Nieko
Amen.  Sorry Gaga.  You've had some good songs but like the entertainment world is saying..."You got Adeled."

“In Arkansas, everything is dark out. So, it's dark always.”

-Snooki
Alright, I know that I mostly only quote Deena and Snooki but how can you not?  They say the most ridiculous things!  We think she was talking about Alaska? #Drunkmuch?

"It's Easy!" -Liz
"YOU'RE EASY...ohjustkiddingnoyou'renot" -Me.
Ok, I said it without thinking and quickly retracted the comment.

"Even [So and So] would be old here."
-Easton
Totally not a dis at all. Pure truth.  The Mac Miller concert was packed with 9 year olds I swear.  We even saw one smoking. WTH? ...Ogden.

"Uh, can I get a grease pizza with an extra side of grease?"
-Basically everyone at the Pie after seeing the Pizza Cole and Easton and I ordered.
Seriously, I may never eat at the Pie again after that.  Or just never order that kind again. 3 grease napkins later....BLECK!

"Oh my. Sorry. Mob Wives is making me feel angry and I just realized I am angry at that plan just because of this show."
-Text from Nieko
hahaha. This had me laughing so hard.  It's true though. Mob Wives will make you want to 1.) fight other people or 2.) make people get into fights just so you can watch....all over nothing, really.

"A leopard never sheds its stripes."
-Deena

I think the Beatles said it perfectly :)

How many times have you heard me say that I love LOVE? Probably about a billion, I'd say. I guess that's because it's the truth.

Lately I feel like I'm surrounded by a lot of mushy gushy and sometimes (rarely), sure, I want to poke out my own eyeballs and would rather cut off my own arm "127 hours" style then continue being in the exact moment I'm in with all the "cheese." BUT really...at the end of the day I do love it. Love. I mean, come on--Love makes people happy! Even if we aren't IN love with someone we still love in general.

Take me for example.  I'm single [shocker] but just because I don't have a "valentine" doesn't mean that I woke up this morning and decided to put on all black and insist on stomping around depressed all day calling it "Single Awareness Day." No way jose'. I don't do that any other day so why would I do it on a day that is about celebrating love.  I love love, remember?  You better believe that I'm rocking the red heels and heart jewelry today!

My plans for tonight are a little odd but honestly I've decided that it's not what you do on Valentine's day... I really do think that Valentine's day is more of a feeling anyways. It's waking up in the morning, making yourself look beautiful, telling people that you love them and appreciate them, writing fun notes to make your loved ones smile, and just enjoying life and the people in it.

That's what this day is all about, people. it's a day all about LOVE, helllllrrrr. And that includes ALL kinds of love :)

If the main thing we want out of life is to be happy and we constantly seek happiness in everything we do, we really should just stop and take time to love...What better day than today?

Thank you, Beatles.
Spend time with the people you love. tell them you love them. and most importantly...SHOW them!

If I don't get the chance to tell you in person--Happy Valentine's Day.
 prolly love you :)

Overwhelmed by my blessings.
especially all of the small but GREAT things.

Relaxing..

At peace, I'd say.

Happy Weekend :)
Here's to staying strong.

Wednesday's Witty Words of the Week

"Guess who was on Live with Kelly today? Snooki and what's her name? J-Wowwzy??"
-Mom
Close. haha. Oh, that mother of mine.  I love that she at least got part of it right!

"Come on guys, I go on dates once a week and I have a speech impediment..."
-"sponge bob,"/"DJ Flap a lot," new kid at work
This kid never shuts up about dating.  He's always telling these stories to other coworkers but his desk isn't too far away from mine so I can always hear what he's saying.  He thinks he's so cool for asking all these girls out and tries to convince other guys to ask girls out because "hey, I have a stutter and I still ask girls out." *insert sarcastic thumbs up* WTH?  But sad part is that the other day he was talking about how he gets tons of first dates but not too many second and third ones.. Ok, sad.  Stop talking about it, dude before I tear up. NOT. You're annoying.

"If you look up 'Too much Swag' in the dictionary it would have a picture of my face in it."
-Pauly D
UH HUH!  Seriously love him.

"he needs Hermione..." *Said in English Accent*
-Nieko
This wasn't the only time he talked in an accent while watching "The Woman in Black" this weekend.  But really, just because Harry Potter, I mean, Daniel Radcliff, was in the movie he thought that his character needed Hermione to help him solve his problems.  haha. Classic. Although the movie was creepy and entertaining, part of me wishes her and Ron would have showed up at the end of the movie.  Or that some sort of spell would have been cast or SOMETHING to make me not so disappointed with the ending.

"Jenn--It was like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre...You know what it looked like from the front? Johnny Depp in that Oppa Loompa Movie."
-Jamie in reference to SOMEONE who decided to hack off their own hair.
bahahahahaha. No words.  My stomach was hurting from laughing so hard.

"Sorry, I just got done watching Fast and Furious."
-Ariana
Ohhh so that excuses you randomly calling people inappropriate/super funny names? hahaha. I gotcha ;)

"he open mouth kisses...kind of like Jim Carey on Dumb and Dumber. haha what if?"
-Jamie
Ok, I highly doubt that my little nephew REALLY tries to kiss her like that but if he did...omg..! You know the kiss I'm talking about right? ew. No one should have to experience that. EVERR haha. But I will take mason kisses any day :)

"I'm not washing my hands." -Snooki
"Yeah, I never do."-Deena
Ok, EW.  First of all, this was right after Snooki had peed her panties (obviously she wasn't wearing pants) at the club.  Ummm, HELLO! all peeing aside even...You were at a disgusting club AND you live with the Situation--you should both be washing those things 24/7.

"Ohhhhhh my gosh, I love him."
-Amanda about the "surfer boy" at the church Bball game who I ended up really disliking.
It's just the way she said it.. haha. But she really did love him.  I think it was the straightened hair she liked?

"Yeah, I'll bring it."
-Number 11..AKA Surfer Boy..AKA Lord of the Douches.
I knew just how to push home boy's buttons; it was great.  He back-talked me a couple of times in the middle of the game.  oh boy was I fired up!! too bad we lost by 5....

"Shoooot. Give me a Brandi."
-Brandi
I told her I needed a drink after the intense church ball game we watched and this was her funny reply. [both joking of course :)] HA. love her.

"I thought for sure he was going to kiss me that night but little did I know... He liked boys."
-Wendy
hahaha.  She was heart broken.  I laughed.  Really though, I should take a poll to see how many people this has happened too?!

"haha. uhh, make sure you're wearing a bra when I come over tomorrow night.."
-Easton
haha. Dude. I was folding my arms for the most part. and puh-lease. YOU try wearing a bra every second of your life...thank you very much ;)

"Shhhhhh. How am I supposed to kill you again?"
-Brad during a game of Murder in the Dark
I would have been even more creeped out if he knew how he was supposed to play the game! Oh Bradlee.

"You look like a walking party."
-Deena, Jersey Shore
I really think this is really their idea of the ultimate compliment.  haha. I like it.

"There is nothing less sexy than a man who asks if he can kiss you?" -CeeCee, New Girl
"Really? What if I ate my own hair and pooped out a wig?"
 -Schmidt, New Girl
Ok first, I love that she said that about a guy asking a girl if he can kiss her.  It might be cute sometimes but I think you should know if a girl is wanting you to kiss her for the first time. come on.  But Schmidt's response?  hahahaha. I want to meet the person who writes this crap.

Haters gonna hate

So things have been a little crazy in the world of Jenn in the past week so excuse me for not being on the ball with some of the latest issues.  Like, let's quickly address one in particular about [someone] who apparently has something to say about certain awesome people.

AHEM, es-squeeze-me!?

Think what you want while we keep NOT caring and doing what we do best, which is clearly--Being Awesome.

*virtual pound-it to my homies :)*

TINY!!

LOOK what my coworker brought in today--A long haired Chihuahua.  I am still dying over how tiny and adorable he is... Yes, I have a weird obsession with tiny things but can you blame me?

I caught him winking. haha.

Omg. I think I want.

Hold On

There have been times in my life recently when I've questioned a lot of things.  I've questioned where I'm supposed to be, if I'm doing all that I'm supposed to, what I believe, and questioned myself and where I am with life in general.  One thing I will never question is that I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me very much.  Even when I feel so messed up or let myself slack a little more than I'd ever like too, my Heavenly Father still sends me constant reminders of His love.  He has put the most magnificent people in my life at the exact times that I need them.  These people say the right things, they listen to me, they give me encouragement to push through and they love me no matter what.  Sometimes I wonder why I deserve such wonderful people in my life but I am so thankful for each and every one of them and the examples they are to me to be a better person.

A friend told me last night that it's in the moments when we are trying to do better that Satan works harder on us.  This person couldn't be more right.  I may not always know what I'm doing and I know I don't always do the right things but I do know that when I am working on my relationship with my Heavenly Father and doing the things I'm supposed to be doing [going back to the basics] that I am so much happier and things seem to be a lot easier.

Today has been a long day of studying the scriptures, listening to my peers' testimonies, crying and praying a whole lot.  Believe it or not, it's actually been a great Fast Sunday.  Here's a message from Sister Elaine S. Dalton that I wanted to share:

I love how she said that when we are prepared, we can do hard things.  Wow.   I am so thankful for days like today when I am able to reevaluate my life, repent, and set goals to prioritize my life so that I can be prepared for when the hard times come...because we all know that they will come.

Goals I've set for myself (with the help of others):

Take things one step at a time
Don't just read the scriptures...STUDY them.
Pray more often.  Sincerely.
Utilize the Priesthood.
Make time for myself to do the things that I love. {rediscover those things}
Love more.
Let others help me more often.
Don't be so hard on myself.
Keep the faith.
Progress.

I think the biggest thing that I've learned today is that you CAN get back to those times when you felt like you were the best and did most of the things you were supposed to be doing. You just have to work hard to keep your fire burning bright.  We can't let ourselves get lazy.  We have to keep a close eye on our flame so it doesn't dwindle and burn down to coals leaving us cold, in the dark, and miserable.  As you go back to the basics..daily scripture study, morning and night prayers, magnifying your calling, going to your church meetings/activities, making institute a priority, setting an example for others, serving and living the gospel in general everyday...you will keep your fire burning bright.

If you're afraid you can't get that light back......just hold on.  Work hard.  It will come.

Can I just say that I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints :)

Well, I do.

Wednesday's Witty Words of the Week.

"I made a douche bag jar for my place. Me and my cousin live together. I had to put a dollar in it as soon as I made it because I spelled douche bag wrong."
-Annonymous Blog Reader on an older post I wrote.
Made my day. seriously so funny.

"Who do you hate the most in this world? Let's say bad things about him... Oh my gosh--hick....What a hick."
-Nieko
We'll just say that was a funny night.  He honestly couldn't come up with any other bad things to say about this kid besides that he thought he was a hick. Oh Nieko and your disbelief that Brandi and I grew up on a farm. haha. I will leave the rest of the comments he said that night in my person quote bank :) HA.

"Hey--Get older."
-Easton
One of the things that I love about this kid is the way that he says things.  This comment was no exception.  haha.  Young people of this world, we love you but really... get older!

"She's like a raccoon.  She's always in my garbage. That [B] doesn't go away."
-Drita talking about Ramona, Mob Wives
Do you have one of these friends, or frenemies? If so, get rid of them.  Or just be like Drita and go ape shiz on them. Actually, for drama/entertainment purposes: get in a huge fight, let me watch it and then you can get rid of them.  I love me some crazy girl fights.  Thank you, Mob Wives.

“When you need bunny suits to bring life to this house, that's when you know we have problems.”
-Snooki, Jersey Shore
Is it weird that I really want to get a bunny suit or some kind of costume like Snooki did?  Not to be creepy like one of those "furries" (I still can't believe that crap is real) but just to pull tricks on people and to make people put on when they come over sometimes.  hahaha What's funnier than a person dressed up in a bunny suit, like, pushing people down and stuff? Notta whole lot...

"Remember how I told you that I was have a constant panic attacks since the first of this year???? ...Turns out I was just hungry."
-Alex
Hahahaha.  Ok, in all honesty--good food really does make everything better sometimes.

"Don’t ever wear that shirt again. It makes your boobs look massive. It looks like a joke. You look like a cartoon."-Kourtney Kardashian to Kim
bahahaha. You know what's a joke? The way that the Kardashian's talk to each other 99% of the time.  cracks me up.

"OK. I take back what I said about them being the Songbirds of our Generation."
-Mark
I guess Brandi and I were being a little irreverent during the musical number at the fireside.  But give us a break, we thought they were singing in a different language.  We couldn't understand them.  So Mark leaned over to tell us to be quiet because they are "the song birds of our generation." Yeah, he changed his mind real quick after a while of listening to them.

"Do you watch the Bachelor?" -lauren
"No. I gave that up."-me
"Do you watch X Factor?" -Lauren
"No. I quit all singing shows." -me
"Well then WHAT do you even watch?" -Lauren
"Bravo and MTV:)" -me
It's true.  Are you kidding? If I didn't cut out some of these shows I would have even less time to sleep.  Alright, I do have a couple of shows on the CW and Mob Wives is VH1.  But I had to cut out all of these shows that take up more than an hour a week.  That's ridic.

“I like to isolate myself around my birthday, so I can see who pays attention.”
-Mike the Situation, Jersey Shore
What a wiener.  I can see people doing this in real life but no one, except for a true dbag or drama queen, would actually say it out loud.  Like, are you crazy?  Maybe if you were actually nice then people would make more of an effort on your birthday? Idk.

"It's [super bowl commercial] Viral and crazy." -Hoda
"Well so is herpes but it's not a great thing." -KLG
I know I've said this before but KLG and Hoda are one of my favorite things of my morning.  Like, I get ticked if I don't have time to listen to them or if they take forever to post the vids online.  They are just great. And I stand by Kathie Lee on this one...

"What are you doing differently?  You're looking really pretty...*pause* not that you weren't before. You're just glowing. Whatever it is, It's working!"
-Tavan, coworker
really people? Two weeks in a row. really? hahaha. Thanks, I guess. j/k!

"I'm going to go tanning too. Everyone thinks you're pretty now."
-Wendy, coworker
Ok, now you're just being rude, WEN-dy!! and really...I haven't been tanning for a couple of weeks so step off :)

"Can someone please get my towel? It's in my room next to my Irish walking cape."
-Schmidt, New Girl
What the? Seriously, Schmidt's character kills me. If you don't watch this show... smh.

"I'm about to go pay this fine, and my checks have baby farm animals on them, [B]."
-Jess, New Girl
I.was.dying listening to her go off defending her quirky self to the lawyer girl. hilarious.
