The My Chemical Romance and Blink-182 concert last night was so much fun if can't already tell from my previous statement. My friends and I had never been to the Usana Amphitheater before so we really didn't know what to expect with our general admission "grass seats." Of course, we're pretty smart so we ended up getting right at the front of the grass seats along the railing and it really couldn't have been better!
I've been to concerts before where you love their music but they super suck singing live and performing. You know what I'm talking about, right? Well, this wasn't the case at all. Both of these bands were so good. I didn't want MCR to stop because I crazy love Gerard's voice and of course Blink sounded just like they do on their albums and their stage set up with their backgrounds and light show was sooo good!
Oh and just LOOK at Travis and his little kids. Pretty sure his boy Landon was the little mohawked dude rocking out on the guitar next to Travis on stage last night. This pic is a bit old though because the kid's mohawk last night was HUGE. Regardless, look how cute!
I didn't make any crazy friends at this concert like I did last time but it was just so much fun. We all just laughed, danced, screamed, and sang at the top of our lungs. Luckily, I still have a voice this morning. Not sure how Cole or Easton's will be though. They were CRAZZY.
I'm pretty sure my car was pro at getting out of the parking lot too :) If you ever go to Usana call me first because we were in and out like champs! Beginner's luck? Maybe. But if we would have been stuck in the parking lot like some of the other people were...there would have been some "accidents" inside the car. Thank you Village Inn for rescuing us with your bathrooms, your late night chicken strips that I shouldn't have eaten, and for putting up with a bunch of super loud kids!
